My friend asked so I'll post it here as well.  I'm no expert at it so I can not really give out any tips, having good drawing skills, building fanbases are the very basic, those take times and social skills to do and it's not like I have either of them anyway so I'm not talking about that here.
If you think your art is good enough, and wanting to make some quick bucks, but don't know where to start, here're some links I think maybe useful:

DA's forum jobs offer:
forum.deviantart.com/jobs/offe…
Lots of people don't really care about the forum so they don't know about this, so I will just put it here anyway.

Reddit #hungryartists:
www.reddit.com/r/HungryArtists…
Just another jobs offer, job services forum with all kind of works relate to arts on Reddit.

Lemmasoft Visual Novel:
lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/
They have a sub forum for hiring too, but may be a lot of you have no idea about Visual Novel yet ( or may be using Dating Sims will be easier to imagine ), if so that is their main forum, do some research first. There are 4 main jobs for artist there:
-Sprites: Character with no background, with variation of expression, clothes, poses.. etc..
-Backgrounds: Backgrounds with variation of time, light, details
-User Interface: Button, bar etc...
-CG: Something like cutscenes, when you want to show the player a visual look of a certain scene, but it is a still image in Visual novel case.
Background artists are the most wanted there so if you are into drawing background, give it a try.

Webtoons:
www.webtoons.com/en/terms ( click to Creator support policy and read it )
If you enjoying making comics, even if it's just a gag comic, 4 panels, onepage per chapter comics... etc.. try webtoons, they have million of readers, and if your comic meets their qualification, you can get upto 1000$ per month, there are only 300 slots for everyone tho.
*Notice that webtoons has 2 categories:
Discover - anyone can post their comics here, no pressure, no payment, get support if meet qualification as mentioned above.
Feature - comics made by webtoons offical artists, lots of them was and being picked from Discover category, if the staffs interested in your comic, they will contact you, you will have payment, and will need to sign some kind of agreements/contracts as well.
**Same kind of site, Tapas seems to have a earning system too, but not very much or so I hear, but their policy is less strict than webtoons, like, they accept mature contents, I don't have time to do research on this one yet, but just in case you are interested, I will just put it here tapas.io/

Selling designs:
www.shirtpunch.com/
spreadshirt.com
If you enjoy making designs, logos, fanarts, abstract, typography... etc.. you can try these kind of sites, to make it short, upload your drawings/designs on these sites, choose the products ( tshirt, mugs, bags, canvas.. ) that you want to put it on, the site will make a mockup of it and list it on their site, print and ship if any of them sell, you will get money from each of it. There're a lot of  these kind of site out there, but also very competitive since a lot of people doing it, it's hard to get people to see your works, mostly you will need to do the adverstiment yourself, unless you lucky and get feature by the sites, this work better if you already have a fanbase, or has some online marketing skill.
Merch by Amazon is a very good place too, it's a big market, thing is, it's hard to get a Merch account, but if you aiming for a longterm plan, it worth a try.

Envato:
market.envato.com
Not really relate to art, more like a place for multimedia graphic designer, selling sites template, photoshop actions, mockup bases, audio, video.... all kind of creative products you can think of.
Check that menu with weird names at the top of the site, and find out what kind of stuffs people is selling.

4/17/2017 Another zombie day

On the bus home, when my eyes glued to the smartphone screen, clueless looking for something fun to watch, then I found this. It's about an old topic, I saw a few of similar videos before, and didn't really care about them. I thought, real life or internet, we should just do what we feel like, there are people who like communication, but there are also people who only want to be alone, no one have the right to say which is good and which is bad.

Now, I still think so. But for some reason, this commerical hit me hard this time, may be because it lead directly to the good thing instead of telling us the down side first, or may be because I'm living a life of a zombie the recent few months and need some humanity. I'm going to gradute this year, so I was burried in the assignments, presentations, interships etc... and you know what worse ? Teamwork Projects. But I'm not going to grumble about that now, everyone already know how terrible they are.

Anyway, inshort, I'm busy, lacking of sleep, feel tired all the time, don't want to do anything ( but still do everything without any passion ) and hardly talk to anyone outside of works. And after seeing this video, I think, may be doing something like this can change my current mood, certaintly I won't put a table out there and invite people to eat, I just want to try to talk to people. So, better to do than to talk, I sent a sms to my bestfriend, asked if we can go out eat tonight. And while waiting for her reply, I poked the guy sit next to me, pretended to ask for which stop I should get down, to get to a certain place?

He stared at me for 15 seconds, then asked "Are you trying to sell me something?". Well I was going back from my intership job wearing my OL skirt, so I guess I do look like a sales person, but is it that rare for someone in OL suit asking for direction ?

Before I could understand why was he saying something like that, my bestfriend's reply came, saying she's busy tonight.

"Nice, double killed" I thought.

Well, my story is not finish at that bad end yet. When I look up to the guy again, he said he's pretty sure that I took this bus several times before and always get down at that stop, so it's obivious that I was just pretending. Well, it was really embrassing, anyway, I showed him the video and told him the real purpose, also about my stresses, my projects, my works... etc.. Then he told me his stories too.

His family was poor, his parents worked hard to get him all the way into college, he studied, graduated, got a job, lived a simple life like that, but only because he didn't has a lot of choices, he like doing music, but he picked a college with cheap tuition, and  a
major with high chance to find a job, he worked at his current company for 7 years already even though he doesn't really like it, he need a stable salary so he can take care of his family ( parents and brother, he is not married yet ), if he just quit or jump job, there's a chance that he will become an unemployment, he know that is not the right way of life, but if that happen, his family will be famished immediately, he can not take that risk.

I didn't know what to say, because I understand his situation, and the only way I can think of is also just deal with it, life is not a novel or a movie, not any problem can be solved.

But, if you work hard enough, things may get better, slow, but better: "Don't even go pity on me, after all those years I saved up enough, we have a good house stay, my parents run a small grocery store in front of it, my brother also has a decent job, I'm a little too old to go back study music from the start but at least I have time and money to play around as a hobby now, my life may not be a very successful one, but I'm happy with it" He said.

"I think your life IS a successful one, and you look way younger than you really are, mister" I said, and I really mean it.

We exchange emails and he swear he will send me some of his music. Talking with people once after a while really does make me feel better, getting down from the bus, I felt totally refreshing, while walking I took my phone out out of habit, this can't be helped , and then realized there was another sms came from my bestfriend

"How about tomorrow night ?"

So I'm doing some personal projects and needing some background musics, I really like the Fairy Tail OSTs and tried to buy something smilar on Jamendo, I looked up by "fantasy", "adventure", "epic".. keywords but no luck, most of the soundtracks I found is a little too depressing, slow pace and always kind of.. dark. I want something light, fast, fun, happy, fitting to fighting scenes and has a magic fantasy world feeling in it. Anyone have any ideas where can I find them, or what kind of keyword should I use to look up ?
